Welcome to Any Alterations. By using our alteration services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These ensure clarity and fairness for both you and us.
1. Fittings & Measurements
Accurate measurements are key to achieving the best fit. We rely on information provided during your fitting, and we cannot be held responsible for issues caused by incorrect measurements supplied by the customer.
For wedding dresses and formalwear, fittings are by appointment only. Please allow enough time before your event — ideally 8–10 weeks — as most wedding dresses require 2–3 fittings with 2 weeks between each.
2. Pricing & Payments
A price estimate will be provided before any work begins.
For wedding dresses, a deposit of [e.g. 50%] may be required before starting.
All payments must be made in full before items are collected.
Express services (same-day or next-day) may incur an additional charge.
3. Turnaround Times
Our standard turnaround time for clothing and curtain alterations is 14 days, wedding dress alterations is 28 days.
We may be able to offer a 5–7 day turnaround for clothing and curtain alterations and 14 day turaround time for wedding dress alterations, subject to availability and the complexity of the work. This cannot be guaranteed and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations & Changes
If you need to cancel or change your appointment, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance.
Once work has started, cancellations may not be possible, and deposits may be non-refundable.
5. Refunds & Further Adjustments
All alteration work is carried out based on your instructions and/or fitting sessions. As each garment is customised to your requirements, we do not offer refunds under any circumstances once the work is completed.
If you would like further adjustments after the agreed alterations are completed, this will be treated as a new alteration and charged accordingly.
We cannot take responsibility for any change in size, fit, or preference after your original instructions have been carried out.
6. Customer-Supplied Items
We work carefully on your garments but cannot accept responsibility for:
Pre-existing damage or weaknesses in the fabric
Colour fading, shrinkage, or wear caused by previous washing or dry-cleaning
If a garment is particularly delicate, we’ll discuss potential risks with you before starting.
7. Collection of Items
We kindly ask that completed items are collected within 30 days of notification.
After 60 days, uncollected items may be donated.
8. Liability
While we take great care with your garments, our liability for loss or damage is limited to the cost of the alteration service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
